Company Information
Guaranteed Property Company are a forty five year old property business, based in the West End of London with expertise ranging from medical premises to mixed use developments.
They specialise in anything from small flats to houses, medical surgeries, shops, supermarkets , houses, retail and office premises.
Website Requirements
Having developed their previous Website, we thought it would be more beneficial for our client to upgrade to a much more new and modern design. A design that would compare favourably to other well established Property Management Websites in the London area. Also, to make it much easier for them to update their own Website and to incorporate more industry type functionality, it was decided to also integrate our powerful, yet easy to use, Property Management System.
Website Template Modifications
Since the Website is, essentially, a Property based Website, allowing visitors to search for certain types of properties, navigation and page layouts were changed accordingly.
All property based pages within the Website are dynamically updated by a database back-end system, making it much simpler for our client to update their property portfolio and, at the same time, allow them to sell space on their Website for other Agents to advertise their properties.
The main navigation was changed to include two prominent links to the For Sale and For Rent pages. The picture and animation effect in the main banner were also changed to incorporate a local building plus a picture of the Website owner, David levine.
Since it is important for visitors on arriving at the site to see what the latest properties are, the ten most recent properties are extracted from the database to be shown, with links to the detail pages for more information. This replaced the bulleted list to the left of the original design. Since the default graphics to the right of the page were not appropriate, these were replaced with additional graphic links to the Rental and Sales sections of the Website.
For the detailed property pages, new page layouts were created to show summaries and details of each of the properties. Different Search Forms were also created for each of the property types and inserted to the right of the pages.
The contact page was modified to give more prominence to the Online Form and, since, the client is only based in one location.
